What Is

Platelet-Rich Plasma Treatment?

Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy is one of the most exciting advances in natural skin rejuvenation, and it works by using something incredibly clever: your own body.
A small sample of your blood is taken and gently spun in a centrifuge to separate the platelet-rich plasma, the part of your blood packed with growth factors, proteins, and nutrients that play a key role in skin healing and renewal.

This concentrated plasma is then carefully reintroduced into the skin, where it gets to work stimulating collagen production, boosting elasticity, and refreshing your overall complexion from within.

Because PRP uses nothing but your body's own resources, there are no synthetic fillers, no foreign substances, and no risk of allergic reaction. It's a beautifully natural way to rejuvenate the skin, brighten your complexion, and bring back a healthier, more youthful glow.

The Benefits of PRP Treatment

  • Enhances overall skin texture and tone
  • Stimulates natural collagen and elastin production
  • Softens fine lines and wrinkles
  • Reduces the appearance of pigmentation and uneven skin tone
  • Improves acne scarring and skin damage
  • Brightens dull, tired-looking skin
  • Restores a healthy, youthful, radiant glow
  • 100% natural — uses only your body’s own plasma

Areas PRP Can Help

PRP is wonderfully versatile and can be used across the face, neck and beyond. Common treatment areas include:

  • Full Face: Overall rejuvenation, brightening, and improved skin quality.
  • Under-Eye Area: Softens dark circles, smooths fine lines, and refreshes a tired, hollow appearance.
  • Neck and Décolletage: Improves crepey skin texture and restores firmness.
  • Acne Scarring: Helps smooth and soften the appearance of pitted or uneven scarring.
  • Pigmentation & Sun Damage: Encourages a more even, balanced skin tone over a course of treatments.

How Your PRP Treatment Works

  • Consultation: A thorough one-to-one consultation to assess your skin, talk through your concerns, and confirm that PRP is the right treatment for you.
  • Blood Draw: A small sample of blood is taken from your arm, much like a routine blood test. Quick, simple, and carried out by an experienced medical professional.
  • Plasma Preparation: Your blood is spun in a centrifuge to isolate the platelet-rich plasma, your body’s natural healing powerhouse.
  • The Treatment: The PRP is then carefully applied to the skin, either through fine needle injections or combined with microneedling to enhance absorption and stimulate collagen even further.
  • Aftercare & Results: You may notice some mild redness or warmth for 24 to 48 hours afterwards, similar to a light sunburn. Visible improvements build gradually over the following weeks, with full results developing over the course of treatments.

  • Stay out of the sun and avoid sunburn for at least 7 days before and after treatment.
  • Stop using retinoids and acid-based skincare products for 3 days before and after your appointment.
  • Avoid other aesthetic treatments such as peels, lasers, fillers or anti-wrinkle injections for 7 days before and after.
